Terrell Owens to star in new FOX reality show

With his playing days all but behind him, Terrell Owens is taking his talents to the tube.

According to PegasusNews.com, the former NFL receiver, most recently with the Seahawks, is set to star in a new FOX reality TV show, Stars in Danger: The High Dive.

Premiering Jan. 9 at 7 p.m., the show is billed as “the ultimate test for eight celebrities who will step to the edge and take a flying leap, or momentous belly flop, into diving history.”

Overseen by Olympic diving medalist Troy Dumais, the celebrities will first complete a crash-course, then an “intense” training period, and finally a multitude of Olympic-style dives.

Starring alongside Owens will be quite the ensemble cast: the Jersey Shore’s JWoww, professional surfer Bethany Hamilton, actress Alexandra Paul, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Kyle Richards, former actress (and sister of Kyle) Kim Richards, and actors David Chokachi and Antonio Sabato, Jr.

Get your popcorn ready — but only after waiting 30 minutes.

That there is a D-list of celebs if there ever was one. Hopefully they will forget to put any water in the pool.

Thanks for sharing the information! Some of the girls I work with at DISH told me Terrell Owens would be in this special, but I had no idea about some of the others. Looking at the list I’m hoping, with the exception of Bethany and Antonio, we see a lot of belly flops along the way lol! I’m sure we will, so I’ll definitely be tuning in for that! I will be working the night it airs though, so I’ll have to make sure to set a recording timer for it on my DISH Hopper DVR to catch up with at a later time. I do have 2,000 hours of entertainment I can store, so luckily I’ll have plenty of space for this and all of the other shows I watch on Wednesday’s as well. 🙂
