Tim Tebow says he doesn’t know what future holds

Tim Tebow has been left twisting in the wind while the Jets undergo wholesale changes. Though multiple reports have indicated he’s not expected back in the Big Apple, no one knows where he’ll end up.

Not even Tebow himself.

On Wednesday, FOX Business Channel caught up with Tebow to ask the million dollar question: Where will he be playing in 2013?

His answer was predictably evasive.

“Right now, I’m excited to be here,” Tebow said. “Be here talking with you, that’s what I’m focused on.”

Pressed further, the highly-publicized quarterback said he has no regrets about his tumultuous time with the Jets, but isn’t sure what his next move will be.

“I don’t know what my future holds, but I know who holds my future,” Tebow said. “There’s a lot of peace and a lot of comfort.”

Those were the first comments made by Tebow since the season ended, and, boy, were they uninspiring.

On a lighter note, Tebow did reveal what is on his TiVo, the product he endorses and the reason he was at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

In case you’re wondering, he records the shows “Castle” and “The Biggest Loser.”

At least one mystery can be put to bed.

  • I wonder if the Jets ever wanted to play Tebow. They certainly didn’t make a serious effort or I think we would have seen Tebow on the field.

Some think the the Jet’s Coach statements reveal a huge ego whose words appear much bigger than his accomplishments. Tebows’ efforts help end the Jet’s 2011 season. Thus, one wonders if the Jets traded for Tebow just to sit him on the bench in a sort of sweet revenge.

Did Mr. Tebow’s upfront faith and great efforts at the end of 2011 offend those who bask in personal glory and attend toga parties? In any event, their efforts with Tebow appear to be fruitless for if they tried to bring down Tebow’s house they ruined their own as well.

I might add, the writer deemed Tebow’s words uninspiring. Perhaps, given his situation it may be that he spoke prudently. By the way, there was a typo in the article.may I humbly suggest Tebow’s remarks should read …”but I know Who holds my future”? This might better communicate what I think Tebow meant.

Whatever happens with Mr. Tebow I wish him well. Unfortunately, this does not seem true for some of his current teammates.

The jets were the losers. All Tebow wanted to do was to assist in winning a Superbowl as a Jet. The jets mgmt and coaches proved they love loosing because that’s all they did lose. Tebow is a winner because he’s a winner in heart. He’s won a heisman a national championship and led a 1-4, Denver team to the playoffs. He passed for 316 yards in winning the game against the Steelers in the playoffs. Oh yeah the young man can play in the Nfl. He doesnt like to practice loosing unlike the jets. The practice Qb Sanchez lost all the games lost except for mcelroys loss. A lot of good practicing did if the intent was to have a losing season.
