Post image for Packers’ T.J. Lang pokes fun at Lions on Twitter

The Detroit Lions have been throwing money around like nobody’s business, inking running back Reggie Bush, safety Glover Quin, defensive lineman Jason Jones to free agent contracts, and re-signing cornerback Chris Houston.

T.J. Lang isn’t impressed.

Taking to his Twitter account Wednesday, the Green Bay Packers guard dissed his NFC North rival’s recent flurry of transactions.

The humor apparently was lost on much of the Twitterverse.

That isn’t to say Lang didn’t touch on a few nerves, though. One fan attempted (what he thought was) a witty retort.

Emphasis on “attempted.”

Lang 1, jsteagall 0.

It might mean a little more comming from a better player who actually had some hand in winning a game for the Packers! THIS 4th round pick started 15 games on a shabby OL Which gave up 51 sacks over that time! (LIONS line gave up 23). He was born in Royal Oak, Michigan. He grew up in Michigan, and even played his College Boall in Michigan, at EMU! (Way to bail on and diss your home town team, “SUPERSTAR” HA-HA-HA! (14TH TEAM PRO BOWLER)!

At least you have all offseason to pick the splinters from your ass, sitting on the pine does that to you.

Packers have the most cap room in the North, nearly $20 million under…like usual, Lion fan doesn’t know what the hell he’s talking about

And we don’t need to partake in overspending for free agents because we don’t hire GMs that draft receivers in the first round 5 years in a row…which is why we actually HAVE rings…good game.
