Ex-Lions receiver Titus Young arrested twice in 15 hours

For more than three months, Titus Young has drawn zero interest on the open market, and was considered a longshot to land on an NFL roster this offseason.

His recent escapades cement that notion.

According to the Oakland Press, the former Lions receiver was arrested twice in a span of 15 hours last Sunday in Moreno Valley, Cal.

The 23-year-old Young was booked for drunk driving shortly after midnight on May 5. Just 15 hours after his release, at 2:22 p.m., he was arrested yet again and charged with burglary after attempting to steal his black Mustang, which had been impounded.

The latest in a long list of mess ups by Young, whose fallout in Detroit was widely documented, is simply mind-boggling.

Then again — and as unfortunate as it is — there isn’t much else to expect from the man who sucker punches teammates and purposely sabotages his team’s offense.
