Giants’ Dan Connor arrested for carrying knife at airport

Giants linebacker Dan Connor was arrested Saturday morning for carrying a switchblade knife at Philadelphia International Airport.

WPVI-TV reports TSA agents spotted the knife in the luggage of the 27-year-old Connor, a Philly native, as he was going through a terminal.

The police were then called and Connor was taken into custody, where he was released on his own recognisance. He reportedly has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon.

A sixth-year NFL veteran, Connor signed with the Giants in March following a stint with the Cowboys in 2012. He’s not expected to face any league discipline for the incident.

Innacurate, sensationalism – driven News Media at their finest again? Where does it say he was carrying the knife? It was in his luggage. Nor does the phony Media say if it was his checked luggage, or his carry-on luggage for sure. Typical media sensationalism and bullshit.
