Colin Kaepernick jersey becomes NFL’s top-seller

Colin Kaepernick has become the proud owner of the NFL’s hottest jersey.

According to CNBC.com, Kaepernick’s No. 7 jersey was the top seller on NFLShop.com for the period covering April 1, 2013 through June 30, 2013.

The 49ers quarterback is one of seven signal-callers to crack the top 10 in jersey sales. Coming in at No. 2 and No. 3 are Russell Wilson and Robert Griffin III, whom Kaepernick overtook at numero uno.

Rounding out the top 10 is Adrian Peterson, Peyton Manning, Ryan Tannehill, Tom Brady, Ray Lewis, Aaron Rodgers, and Brian Urlacher.

I’m not sure what’s a bigger surprise: Tannehill placing ahead of both Brady and Rodgers, or Joe Flacco’s jersey coming in at just No. 25 on the list.

In any case, it’s safe to say the youth movement is well underway throughout the NFL.
