The 12’s have struck again.
Per the Seattle Times, the Seahawks sold out all 12 practices (ironically enough) that will be open to the public during next month’s training camp.
And how’s this for a hot commodity: More than 30,000 tickets went on sale Thursday morning. They were gone within 45 minutes.
According to the Seahawks’ official website, a $7 transportation fee is assessed to each ticket, as fans are required to park offsite. It’s a nominal cost to see the Super Bowl champs up close, and a nice chunk of change — $210,000, if my math is correct — headed the team’s way.
Win-win for both sides.
Seattle’s training camp spans from July 25 to Aug. 12 at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center in Renton, Wash.
