Reggie Wayne knows how to make an entrance.
One year after arriving via helicopter, the Colts’ veteran receiver on Wednesday showed up to training camp in an IndyCar driven by race car driver Ed Carpenter.
The IndyCar Colts helmet was a nice touch, but it won’t be required for long. The team announced that Wayne — whose 2013 campaign was cut short by a torn ACL — has passed a physical and been cleared to practice.
Reggie Wayne says he has been cleared. Just like Vick Ballard said earlier today.
