Bills’ McKelvin on Dolphins: ‘We’re going to beat their ass’

Bills cornerback Leodis McKelvin has a message for the Dolphins: Hide your kids, hide your wife.

With a showdown of the divisional rivals looming in Week 11, Buffalo’s top cornerback profanely guaranteed his team will come out on top.

McKelvin made these comments following Sunday’s loss to the Chiefs, the Bills’ first defeat in nearly a month. Part of the blame falls on McKelvin, who coughed up the ball on a fourth quarter punt return, setting Kansas City up for the go-ahead score.

He didn’t offer much of an explanation — save for another expletive — for the backbreaking fumble.

But he did take the loss very personally.

Next week’s matchup in Miami pits a pair of 5-4 clubs against each other — a pivotal AFC contest. Both teams appear capable of snatching a wildcard spot this year, and a win would go a long way toward that.

If the Dolphins needed any additional inspiration … well, they’ve got it.
