Of course, that’s not to say he hasn’t earned the stardom. Watt, the 2012 Defensive Player of the Year, is a legitimate candidate to do what no defender has accomplished since Lawrence Taylor — win league MVP.
Watt’s notched 8.5 sacks and three fumble recoveries this season. He’s also scored three touchdowns — including one on offense, a one-yard reception.
With great talent comes great perks. Or something like that.
