Terrell Owens lobbies for NFL job: ‘I am available’

Terrell Owens would like you to know he’s ready, willing and able to continue his NFL career.

No, seriously.

In an interview with TMZ Sports, the 41-year-old (!) former receiver lobbied for a job, revealing he is, indeed, available.

“I stay ready so I don’t have to get ready,” Owens said.

T.O. has kept himself in top physical shape, but hasn’t played in an NFL regular season game since 2010, when he was one-and-done with the Bengals. Since then, he took his talents to the Indoor Football League in 2011 and had a cup of coffee with the Seahawks in 2012.

But, as you might have guessed, his confidence remains unwavered.

Asked if he’s better than most NFL wideouts right now, Owens replied, “there’s no doubt about it.”

Some things never change.

Owens was reminded that the Bears may have an opening with Brandon Marshall (fractured ribs, collapsed lung) done for the season.

“You never can rule out the chance of anything happening,” he said.

Except that he can — and should.
