Teammates gush about record-setting Odell Beckham Jr.

It was more of the same from Odell Beckham Jr. on Sunday. And the same is very, very good.

The Giants’ electrifying rookie receiver had 12 catches for 143 yards and three touchdowns in the team’s 24-13 win over Washington.

In other words, he single-handily defeated the Redskins.

Beckham Jr. now has posted 90 receiving yards in seven straight games, adding an NFL record to his resume.

As you might imagine, Odell’s teammates have taken notice of his game-breaking ability, with several of them lavishing praise on the first-round pick.

Said Jason Pierre-Paul: “He’s the fire of the offense.”

Said Antrel Rolle: “Nothing this guy does amazes me.”

Said Andre Williams: “Odell is playing at the highest level. I catch the ‘wow’ moment at the end. I don’t see him run his routes or anything. I just see him in the end zone, mostly.”

So does everyone else. And it’s why Beckham Jr. likely will run away with Offensive Rookie of the Year honors.
