The Rams are taking the Zac Stacy breakup really well.
So well, in fact, that they already have assigned Stacy’s No. 30 jersey to the incoming Todd Gurley, whom the team selected with the tenth overall pick in last week’s NFL draft.

Gurley, as you could see, wore No. 3 in college, so his new digits make enough sense. But for kicks and giggles, it’s worth wondering if this was supposed to be a jab at Stacy, who’s no longer with the team.
@STLouisRams He knew Zac Stacy would leave.. He was just waiting for his number!

Stacy requested — and was granted — a trade almost immediately following the Gurley pick. On the final day of the draft, St. Louis shipped Stacy to the Jets, where he’ll hope to jump-start his fading career.
The Rams’ reaction?
