Actually, I looked it up, Schiano was one game over .500 his tenure at Rutgers.

Like Geto said, I'm sure another college who is desperate at turning their program around will hire him.  It won't be any of the top programs, but look for a whipping boy in a big conference to give him a chance.  Kinda like Butch Davis when he went to North Carolina.  And let me go on record and say that Schiano doesn't make it out of this season with his job.

And you of all people should know what a steaming bucket of diarrhea the Rutgers football program was before he got there. He's a douche, but let's be fair,  what he did at that place was an effing miracle.

Unfortunately, that often does not translate well to the NFL.  And that was not a steaming bucket of diarrhea, Geto, it was a random sampling of the ground around Tom's River.

Either way, it smelled like sick poo.

And he is getting paid more than Cassel and Ponder combined, so looks like we have a new starter in Minnesota.

Making more money doesn't necessarily mean "starter."

The Cowboys should have signed him.  They could be the first NFL team to have a Closer.  Just like baseball, his job would be the relief QB who comes in and get the save in games where the Cowboys are ahead midway through the fourth quarter.  That would solve the problem of Romo throwing games away.

Not that I mind watching Romo throwing games away.

And BOOM, Freeman is the starter this week for the Vikings. I'm not surprised. I am however happy for him, He gets a shot to redeem himself, I hope he uses it wisely!

I tell you what, if he strings together a couple of wins in a row while performing well, the Bucs should fire Schiano in the middle of the season.

Well I'm not sure they shouldn't do that anyway!

I would have noticed had I been running from the World Trade Center as it was collapsing. Might as well die with a smile on my face. I think the saying is take time to smell the roses!

I view Schiano as Jim Harbaugh with nowhere near the same NFL coaching ability

In 10 years I think they were in the top 25 just a handful of times, and like I said, had great players like Rice, Britt, McCourty, Anthony Davis, etc
